Methods of practice

I use psychodynamic methods in my therapy which are based on the psychoanalytical paradigm. Psychodynamic therapy includes a broad spectrum of mental health disorders (such as mood disorders, anxiety, personality and behavioral disorders, difficulties in building and sustaining long term relationships).

Psychotherapeutic relationship which is built and discussed during therapy allows to correct mechanisms that we replicate with people who are important in our lives (partners, children, friends) and “objects” (work, goals, health). Better self-awareness enables the correction of coping mechanisms in favour of more adaptable ones and promotes self- care.

My therapy is rooted in the respect of the decisions, values and symptoms presented by an individual. The form of therapy (maintenance or expressive therapy, long or short term therapy) and the techniques used depend on the individual needs of the patient.

The first three sessions are devoted to building rapport and establishing realistic goals and outlining an optimal treatment plan.

I also use MBT and TFP methods in my therapy.

Sessions are scheduled regularly, once or twice a week, for 45 minutes.
Cancellations require 48 hours notice, otherwise sessions will be charged in full.
